Okay here is the dough thing


INGREDIENTS
  1. 1 package of active dry or quick yeast
  2. 1 cup warm water
  3. 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour; divided
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 2 tb olive oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place the water in a 2 quart mixing bowl, and sprinkle the yeast over the top. Mix gently until fully dissolved. Stir in 1 cup of flour, 2 tablespoons oil, and the salt.
  2. Using a wooden spoon, combine well and gradually add 1 1/2 cups additional flour.
  3. Knead the dough, adding as little additional flour as necessary, until the dough is smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the ball of dough in a 2 to 3 quart bowl that has been ligthly oiled, rolling the ball around until the surface is coated with oil
  5. Cover the top of the bowl with lightly greased plastic wrap or a clean non terry towel and let stand in a warm place fo about 45 - 60 minutes or until dough has doubled in size (when you stick your finger about 1/2 inch into the dough, your fingerprint will stay). If using rapid-rise yeast, rising will take about 30 minutes.
